Why Do We Love the Summer?

For me, summer is a break from the non-stop grind of the busy year. There are less trips to drop off my children at school or other activities. There are less trips for myself- work, errands and otherwise. The trips that remain are mostly for pleasure. Everyone takes their vacations and our work flow tends to lighten up, giving us more time for fun.
