As someone who has worked from home for the past two decades, I’ve realized that, over time, I’ve become lazier about leaving the house and inserting myself. This laziness has come in many varieties and has been subtle enough so that I haven’t really noticed it much.

I read a post recently, though, that said that the majority of our waking hours should be spent outside of our home, and something clicked for me. All of this time at home has also made me a bit less likely to want to go out for fun, although I generally love new experiences. Over time, I’ve become comfortable to just kick my feet up and relax or try to get more things checked off of my to-do list during my downtime.

I’ve decided that it’s time to turn these habits around. Even though I work from home, I can still insert myself more in life. As such…
